• SCLCR/L boring bars use the two 80degrees corners of CCMT inserts mounted at 95degrees to the axis of the lathe.
• Their shape allows straight boring to a shoulder, as well as internal facing cuts.
• This is the most versatile type of boring bar, and uses the same inserts as the external SCLCR tool holders.
• These boring bars can generally work with overhangs of up to 5 times the boring bar diameter without the tool starting to vibrate.
